This painting was inspired by music itself and the state when a person completely dissolves into sound and emotion. I observed how musicians lose themselves in playing, close their eyes, and seem to drift into their own world — and I wanted to express precisely that sense of freedom and inner flight through painting.

I wanted to convey to the viewer a feeling of joy, lightness, and inner harmony that arises when we engage in something we love. It was important for me to show the beauty of the moment when everything around fades away, leaving only sound and emotion.

I chose acrylics and a palette knife because this material allows me to work quickly, energetically, and create texture that expresses movement and rhythm. The palette knife gives a vibrant, impulsive surface, thanks to which the colors practically “sound” on the canvas like chords on a guitar.
