I was inspired by the idea of merging music and summer — those moments when sunlight, wind, and sounds blend into one. I envisioned a woman playing the cello under a bright sky, wearing a wide-brimmed hat that hides her face. For me, this image represents freedom, joy, and the magic of music becoming an extension of nature.

I wanted to convey a sense of movement and energy, so the viewer could almost hear the strings’ sound, feel the warmth of the sun, and the gentle summer breeze. This painting is about inner harmony and how art can bring light even to ordinary days.

I chose acrylic paint because it allows me to work quickly and build texture. Powerful, vibrant strokes help me express the rhythm of music and the play of light. Acrylic gives me the freedom to layer color and leave visible brush and knife marks, which are essential to conveying the painting’s emotion
