This sculpture is the result of my fascination with the combination of natural forms and traditional Japanese architecture. I depicted a pagoda on the turtle's shell, which adds an element of whimsy and cultural richness to my work. I crafted this piece by hand, paying close attention to detail: the layered elements create visual interest and depth, while the arched openings on the pagoda resemble windows, adding functionality to this art object.
I would describe the style of my work as eclectic. I aimed to blend elements of fantasy and Eastern aesthetics to create a harmonious and striking composition. The dark blue color with white accents gives the sculpture depth and texture, highlighting every detail.
The inspiration for this sculpture came from my love for nature and Japanese culture, where the turtle symbolizes longevity and wisdom, while the pagoda represents harmony with the surrounding world. I wanted to unite traditional elements with a modern creative approach, creating a unique dialogue between nature and architecture.
