This painting was inspired by the image of a free, strong, and alive woman—one who isn’t afraid to be carried by the flow of life. I came across an old photograph of a dancing girl, her hair flying in the wind, and I instantly felt a connection. I didn’t want to capture her appearance, but rather the feeling of flight, inner freedom, and the transition from darkness to light.

What I wanted to share with the viewer is a sense of soul in motion—a surge of passion, determination, and at the same time, grace. The woman’s figure seems to unite two elements: on one side, the warm, fiery energy like sunlight; on the other, the cool, deep power of the unknown. It’s a metaphor for the contrasts we all carry within us.

I chose acrylic because it perfectly captures the energy of the moment. Fast-drying and vibrant, it allows for bold, layered strokes—like dancing with a brush across the canvas. I wanted to preserve the freshness and spontaneity of the emotion, not to “fix” it but to release it.

This painting is a dance at the edge of feeling. I hope each viewer finds their own story within it.
